Zhou Wencui

Dr. Zhou Wencui, a Chinese teacher at the Groningen Confucius Institute (GCI) and an editorial assistant of GCI journal Global China Insights. She holds a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics from University of Groningen and a Doctor’s degree in Social Science from Radboud University Nijmegen. Her main research interest is in language development, particularly in the sound system. Over the years of her residence in the Netherlands, she obtained ample Chinese language and culture teaching experience to Dutch natives, including both children and adults. While joining in the GCI, she is also a Chinese teacher at Radboud University Nijmegen and Tilburg Chinese school. She has great passion in promoting Chinese language and culture, and her goal is to bring a better understanding between Chinese and Dutch cultures.
