Song Ziwen

Ziwen Song (宋孜闻)，Master’s degree in Forest and Nature Conservation from Wageningen University. With great enthusiasm for Chinese language and culture and much experience in news editing and event promotion, she joined Groningen Confucius Institution (GCI) in March 2018, currently working as an editorial assistant for GCI journal Global China Insights, and also involving in many other tasks such as tea ceremony performance, tour guide for GCI exhibition and the news writing. She will also be responsible for the design of GCI public account and the promotion of GCI events in Chinese social media WeChat in the near future. As a Chinese saying goes, ‘seeking common ground while reserving differences’, she is looking forward to communicating with people from different cultures in GCI.
